March Beauty Favorites
Lancome Color Design Eyeshadows 'Pink Zinc' + 'All That Glitters'-
Lancome eyeshadows are so smooth and buttery! They blend beautifully. 'All that Glitters' is a super pigmented, metallic glittery silver shade with a dark duo chrome, and its gorgeous! I layer it over 'gunmetal' eyeshadow from Urban Decay and it gives me that really wet metallic eye look, that I love. It's so pigmented a little goes a very long way. It literally looked like I foiled pigments when I wear this eyeshadow, its that amazing! If you love that wet eye look but hate to bother foiling pigments definitely check out 'All that Glitters'!
'Pink Zinc' is the perfect inner corner shadow for a lovely highlighted twinkle for the eyes. It reminds me of a metallic version of 'SilverDusk' highlighting powder by Mac, and also a more metallic and twinkly version of 'Sin' by Urban Decay. If you've been looking for a lovely eye highlight shade deffinetly check this one out! http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/lancome-color-design-sensational-effects-eye-shadow/2883788?origin=keywordsearch&resultback=2088
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation 'Nude 40'-
This foundation has a beautiful dewy finish, and smooth super blendable texture. Its medium to build able coverage, I like to mix this with my everyday moisturizer for a lighter application, when I just want light coverage. This foundation just gives a gorgeous glow to your skin, probably better suited for those with dry to combination skin. But if you are in the market for a beautiful dewy foundation check this one out! It is said to be a good dupe of the Nars Sheer glow foundations, though I have yet to try them.
Neutrogena Sheer glow Tinted Moisturizer 'Light to Medium'-
This tinted moisturizer is a good dupe for the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizers. It is a sheer coverage, good for those who like a dewy glow to the skin. The only down side is the shade range is pretty limited, I believe they have 5 or 6 shades, so not too many to choose from. But if you can find your shade and you've been lusting after the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizers but didn't want to drop $42 this is a great alternate!http://www.amazon.com/Neutrogena-Healthy-Sheers-Light-Medium/dp/B0017OEG9E/ref=sr_1_2?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1334018816&sr=1-2
Origins Drink Up 10 Minute Moisturizing Mask-
This mask is delicious. It smells lovely, like apricots and other fruity goodness. But best of all it does exactly what it says it does; it quenches your skin's thirst. I actually have combo-oily skin, but I have been having problems with dry flaky patches underneath my eye and on my forehead. I use this every other night after I wash my face and I sleep in it. When I wake up my dry patches gone! It nourishes and hydrates the skin without being so oily that it breaks me out. I am very impressed with this product and consider it a staple in my skincare collection now! http://www.sephora.com/drink-up-10-minute-mask-to-quench-skin-s-thirst-P297547?skuId=1376011
Origins Ginzing Eye Cream-
This eye cream contains mica, which is a naturally occurring mineral that is used in makeup pigments to reflect light. This is the first eye cream I have tried that actually brightens the under eye area so well! The cream is a light pink color and it contains these tiny particles of mica, so when you put it on over your dark circles, it reflects the light under your eyes and the pink tone helps start to color correct the blue tones. It also contains caffeine that stimulates micro-circulation and helps get the congested blood cells moving that cause under eye circles. On my no makeup days I layer this under my day cream and I feel like it brightens my eyes without having to wear concealer. Amazing product! For those who want a brightening eye cream to combat dark circles, this one is for you! http://www.sephora.com/ginzing-refreshing-eye-cream-P297511?skuId=1375625
Origins Mega Mushroom Cream-
This sensitive skin cream is my new go to moisturizer. I have a bit of sensitive skin, with dry patches occasionally. Initially I thought this cream was going to be way too oily for me but on the contrary it is the best day cream I have every used! It keeps my face hydrated all day long, unlike other more light weight moisturizers I've used because I figured since I get an oily t-zone I shouldn't use a thicker day cream. It soothes my skin when I have irritated dry patches, and I think it helps my skin heal after blemishes. The biggest thing I've learned about my skin is that even though I have an oily t-zone doesn't mean I need to strip my skin of all oils, because that will actually provoke more oil production and cause break outs. Regular exfoliation and maintaining a balanced moisture and oil levels on my face with masks and day cream has been my new best skincare routine. I notice a huge difference in the texture of my skin!
Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Cream-
My lips have never look this good. This lip protectant contains Lanolin, which is a natural oil that comes from sheep's wool. It leaves my lips super soft, and protects against dehydration. I had heard all the hype about this product and I am so glad I tried it because it is by far the best lip conditioner I have ever used! I apply it through out the ay but most important I put it on right before bed, so my lips have a lovely treatment while I sleep. Will be repurchasing this item for sure! Unbeatable results. I can see why it's Elizabeth Arden's most famous product! http://www.amazon.com/Elizabeth-Arden-Eight-Cream-1-7-Ounce/dp/B00375L8SI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334018995&sr=8-1
EOS Lip Balm Sphere 'Strawberry Sorbet'-
These lip sphere's are sooooo yummy. I have the one in Strawberry Sorbet, and I swear it smells and taste just like some strawberry Lip Smackers chapstick! It is 95% organic and 100% natural, which is awesome because it is delicious as ever! I am so glad I found a chapstick that smells and tastes like lip smackers that is actually healthy! I through this in my purse and use it through out the day. I like to apply it right before I put on lipstick for a more smooth application. Gorgeous product! and super cute packaging! http://www.amazon.com/EOS-Smooth-Sphere-Strawberry-Sorbet/dp/B005FYL8SY/ref=sr_1_7?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1334019024&sr=1-7
